More simple beauty from the home of stylist Shannon Fricke. I've really been enjoying reading the snippets from her home renovation.

Really excited to be working with children's fashion photography Dani Brubaker on a little project... Can't wait to show you all.

Dani's photography is so wonderfully whimsical and emotive - and not to mention beautiful!

sweet

How beautiful do these pastel coloured sobet cones look? From MS Weddings editor Darcy Miller's wedding. Just perfect.

love for wear

Love the idea behind the Current / Elliot label - recreated denim pieces based on classic vintage silhouettes in washes like 'loved' and 'super loved'. And beautiful styling for their current Spring 09 range. Relaxed, easy and pretty. Love.

Via Bliss, a new favourite read.

feeling a bit like...

Feeling a bit like this at the moment... Need to find some kind of floating device... Or maybe a large stick?

From the most wonderful Jen Corace.

the white house

Do you ever get that feeling when something is so overwhelmingly good that you almost don't know what to do with yourself? I got that feeling when I saw this post by Pia about the White House.

Located in Daylesford, Victoria, The White House is a 1850's miner's cottage with interiors designed and furnished by the wonderful Lyn Gardener, of Empire Vintage. Two bedrooms, a library and a perfect little garden studio filled with vintage and industrial furniture, open fireplaces and claw foot baths...

And the very best part? The White House is available for you to enjoy. Who wants to come? Now I have an excuse to visit Daylesford...

in a haze...

I am happy my first Holga attempt turned out something... not much, most were a total blur (I will remember not to hold down the trigger for long for the next roll!) but at least a few shots I quite like...

summer please return!

We are having a temporary winter here in Sydney these last few days... grey skies, cold winds and rain, rain, rain!

This beautifully hazy image is reminding me that soon summer will return, and there are still some warm and wonderful afternoons to be spent in the garden before the real cold comes... I hope. Via Bliss.

looking, listening

I feel like going exploring this afternoon... If only the weather were a little kinder around here.

a view to

This outdoor setting from the country home of stylist Shannon Fricke is just perfect to me. Simple, natural, beautiful. And can you imagine coming outside and being greeted by such wonderful surroundings (I say as I listen to the sounds of jackhammers outside our home)? Pure heaven.

morrison

How is it that I have only just discovered the beautiful Morrison label? A Western Australian based label named after the designer's keplie cross, Morrison's look is laid back, with soft layers and beautfiul textures.

I think a love affair has begun...

trying not to forget

A momentary pause today for the people who've lost something, or everything in the fires down south... Wishing for the dawn to come for you all.

Thought this beatiful image, and it's title was apt for today.

letters

One more dessert related post... Love these letter candles, I think they'd add a lovely splash of colour to a celebration... and they look so lovely photographed by Rose and Radish.

just desserts

I love desserts. Sometimes I feel like skiping the meal and going straight for the dessert menu. Feeling like something sweet this morning.

Also love that the Donna Hay website now has an index of recipies including lots of beautiful desserts like raspberry semifreddo and chocolate pistacio slice... Yum...

Some nice images in this flickr set.... I had a great love affair with all shades of pink when I was younger, but went way off it until just recently. I'm once again finding myself drawn to interiors and things with a hint (or sometimes more than a hint) of pink... I guess because pink is fun, and sometimes it's just the thing to pick up the spirits.

the moon looked on...

It has been a busy week so far... No time to be looking around!

And yet still found a little piece of time to stare at the album design for Clare Bowditch by Kat McLeod. Love.
