almost time to count down!

It's almost time for the Christmas countdown if you can believe that! This year I think I'll do something a little different with the advent calendar (and maybe the tree too, I'm thinking a hanging branch or cardboard cut out) something like this simple driftwood slide counter I came across on Pinterest would be perfect - simple and unfussy.

Made to Measure Set no.6

Last but not least from Made to Measure - set no.6, with half moon cuts and parcel tied envelopes. I hope you've enjoyed this little look into our design foundations - see all the sets and more information on Made to Measure and how to order here!

Made to Measure Set no.5

More from Made to Measure - set no.5 designed to feature one of our custom rubber stamps. Made a little more rustic with natural white card and burlap twine, or more classic with pure white and jute twine.

fresh

This summer I think I'll try my hand at making my own pot set yogurt. Doesn't this look so beautiful and fresh?

Made to Measure Set no.4

More from Made to Measure - set no. 4 French market inspired in chalky whites and faded black. Designed with our hand glued envelope labels.

sparkles

When I was little, I had sequin ballet slippers that were pretty much the best thing ever. I think I could recreate that with these silver sequin cushions.

Made to Measure set no.2

More from Made to Measure - set no.2. Designed to be minimal, delicate but still simple and a little rustic. Perfect to add details like a custom rubber stamp or hand lettering with a cute parcel tie around the envelope.

Made to Measure set no.3

More from Made to Measure - set no.3, which features our very own handwritten lettering. You can choose any of our twines or strings, but I think the natural linen thread is perfect with this foundation design, natural and a little rustic, but still delicate and simple.

Made to Measure set no.1

Introducing Made to Measure set no.1, from our wedding and event paper goods line. I'm so excited to finally have photographs of our six foundation designs up on the Follow website. Set no.1 includes very special limited edition kraft paper button and string envelopes, and once they are gone, they are gone!

Take a look at all our foundation designs here.

little wings

This oh-so-beautiful minimal iron and feather angel just reminded me how very close Christmas is getting... Can you even believe it? 2011 where did you go!

Our very first Made to Measure wedding and event paper goods style book is now online! The book holds our six foundation designs and the beautiful threads, twines, textures and papers that make up our small offering. Read online here or here (through Issuu).

bunting and paper daisies

A little detail from Amanda & Andy's wedding we worked on at Nielsen Park yesterday, our rustic hessian bunting (in the paper goods and supplies shop soon) decorated with the most beautiful paper daisies by Melinda Tualima. Can't wait to show you all more!

in the paper and supplies shop

Just a couple of new pretty things into the Follow paper and supplies shop today - kraft paper lolly bags and boxes, linen thread and pouches.

A few new things over at The White Elephant Stall too, but you'll have to be extra quick for those, it's all limited stock.

oh to dream

Everything about this oh to dream bedding set from Anthropologie is just so heart warming. So much detail in each piece... I'd also love the 'sleep tight' pillow on it's own, so sweet!

born to be a star

Some people are born to be stars, and Steve Jobs was certainly one of them. Thanks for everything and farewell.

So much inspiration to be had on Anca Gray's tumblr... I hardly know where to look first!

lisa madign store

The Southern Highlands are a favourite of mine to visit and I've been dying to get back there, especially to Berry- and now I have even more reason with Lisa Madigan's new store opening up there. Part store, part gallery and soon to be creative workshop space, so much to love.

Can't wait to see it for myself, one day soon I hope!

ashley skjaveland: photographer

The last little while I have been working with beautiful Canadian artist and photographer Ashley Skjaveland on her logo, branding and website. It has been such a gift to be introduced to Ashley and her work, so much inspiration. Light, love and texture perfection.
