Yesterday I had one of those days when I discover something new and exciting, that leads me to more new and exciting things and it becomes such an overload of beautiful, interesting, inspiration that I can hardly contain myself. Oh so many new bookmarks from yesterday. From sam's notebook, I found this beautiful blog, Sanctuary, and this serene interior of whites and natural textures mixed with a hint of colour. Sigh.

Beautiful artwork from Gitte Brandt. Image from here. Via sam's notebook (a new favourite read).

Some very beautiful images to be found on Olivia Bee's flickr stream and all the more impressive and inspiring when I saw that she is just 14. What a talented young lady.
This would be such a beautiful bathroom chair... If only I had the space (and money). Love!

A recent project Follow worked on for brand consultancy Brand Illumination using a metallic ink on matt paper. Creates a beautiful texture and finish.
One more beautiful image from that Harper's Bazaar spread from a few days ago... So beautiful, and perfect light.

I just love everything about Riviera Maison. Can we see more of them in Australia please! Loved this peek into Henk Teunissen's canal side home in the Netherlands. So beautiful.

This is everything I imagine a wedding should be. Simple and natural, but special and a little bit magical. And what a beautiful backdrop (look at those beautiful oak trees) for a celebration with family and friends, all created for under $3000. Just goes to show it's not the budget that makes the day.
So many more beautiful images from this wedding on Once Wed.

I've just discovered that one of my favourite online stores, Paper Valise now has a blog. Lots of DIY projects and beautiful things to see. Yippee!

Oh and one more thing about Alabama Chanin while I'm daydreaming about their beautiful fabrics and creations - I'd love to get my hands on their book Alabama Stitch for the flower project (above) alone.
Looking forward to seeing more of this beautiful new wedding blog 100 layer cake. Really nicely designed and beautifully simple 'inspiration boards'. Just the way I would do it.

I've posted about the ever inspiring Alabama Chanin before, a 'lifestyle company that focuses on creating an array of products through focusing on slow design and sustainability'. LOVE. Everything they create is thoughtfully designed, incredibly detailed and wonderfully beautiful.
More from my old tear sheets... This one from my favourite Donna Hay Entertaining issue from a couple of years ago. The styling for this spread was so simple, classic and sophisticated.
My dream work bench... from one of my favourite Sydney places, Doug up on Bourke. I'm looking forward to a trip there this weekend...
I've just rediscovered an old file of magazine tear sheets. This was one of my favourite Harper's Bazaar shoots taken at NT's Cape Tribulation. I still love it. The washed out palette, the soft floaty clothes, and her beautiful, beautiful hair. I would love to have my hair braided like that, just once. And I love, love, love that Maticevski dress in the top image.

Normally I am against mirrored wardrobe doors, but this room has really changed my mind. Love!
From sfgirlbybay's tribute to dreamy bedrooms.

Follow recently launched a new website for boutique photography studio Mint Photography. Principal photographer Sarah Garton captures the most beautiful, natural images in a photojournalistic style.
Take a look here, if you'd like.

I have been wanting a beautiful long cushion for a beanch seat in the studio but just can't find what I'm after. Now I've seen these organic travelling mattresses from Monikaw featured in this post by Pia, I really really want one. Now I just need to justify the spend...

Tying the knot. Such a lovely, simple idea, executed so very beautifully to announce artist Alyson Fox's wedding featured on Design Sponge some time ago.
colours of the sea

Love these beautiful settings from coco + kelly's flickr stream. The colours are from my favourite palette - soft greys, whites and greens from the sea. Perfection!
lady of the sunshine

A couple of little snippets of the hand drawn typography and album design we've been working on for Angus Stone's (of Angus & Julia Stone) new project Lady of the Sunshine. The top image is the alternate cover, which didn't end up being chosen, but thought it was worthy of being shown none the less.
Really looking forward to seeing the final result. The album, Smoking Gun will be relased early April - look out for it, I think it'll be fantastic.
The coolest sticky tape I've seen. From O-check, available from Notemaker.

The new Dani Brubaker blog we designed is now online. Go take a look, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Congratualtions to my lovely friend Amy who was married on Saturday at Palm Beach. What a perfect day!
Thanks to {this is glamorous} for relinking me with her original post where this image is from.
